What is CoveDeck
A tour of the workspace: what lives where, and how the pieces fit together.
CoveDeck is a workspace for creators to plan, script, shoot, schedule, and review video content. Everything lives inside a workspace (your team or tenant), and the left sidebar is the main navigation.
The sidebar
- Dashboard: your customizable home with widgets and at-a-glance metrics.
- Projects: the pipeline of videos you are working on, organized by stage.
- Calendar: time blocks for planning, writing, shooting, and editing, plus your scheduled posts.
- Analytics: follower and performance charts for connected social accounts.
- Inbox: comments on your published posts across connected accounts, with inline replies.
- Asset Vault: your media library (videos, images, files) with folders.
- Settings: workspace, connections, members, account, billing, and preferences.
Your current plan (Free, Creator, Pro, or Studio) shows as a small badge under the CoveDeck logo at the top of the sidebar, and the workspace switcher sits right below it.
The basic flow
- Capture an idea as a project and move it through your pipeline stages as it gets real.
- Write the script in the project's Files, plan titles and thumbnails, and track tasks.
- Block out shooting and editing time on the Calendar.
- Keep footage and finished cuts in the Asset Vault, and collect review notes pinned to timecodes.
- Schedule the post to your connected channels and let it publish itself.
- Watch the results in Analytics and reply to comments from the Inbox.
Each step has its own article in these docs. If you prefer to poke around first, try the live demo, which is pre-filled with a sample creator's content.
