Comments and @mentions
Discuss a video with your team right on the project, and pull someone in with an @mention.
Every project has a Discussion module near the bottom of its page. It is where feedback lives when it is not tied to a moment in a video: the hook, the title, the plan. Notes tied to a specific second of footage belong in video review instead.
Leave a comment
- Open the project and scroll to Discussion.
- Write your comment in the box at the bottom.
- Hit Comment, or press Cmd/Ctrl + Enter.
Mention a teammate
Type @ anywhere in a comment box and a list of your teammates appears. Use the arrow keys and Enter (or click) to pick one; their name drops into your comment.
The person you mention gets a notification straight away, with the text of your comment. So does everyone already in that thread, and anyone the project is assigned to.
Reply, edit, and resolve
- Reply starts a thread under a comment. Threads are one level deep, so a reply to a reply joins the same thread rather than nesting further.
- Edit changes your own comment. It shows an "edited" marker afterwards.
- Resolve folds a settled thread down to a single line, so a long project does not turn into a wall of old conversation. Reopen brings it back.
Who can do what
- Viewers read the discussion but cannot post.
- Editors post, reply, and edit or delete their own comments.
- Owners and admins can additionally resolve or delete anyone's comment.
