Scripts and files

Write scripts and outlines in each project's Files section, with a full document editor.

Each project has a Files section for text documents: scripts, outlines, beat sheets, research notes.

Create and edit

Click New file in a project to create a document, then click it to open the editor. The editor supports rich text formatting, and your work saves as you go.

Pin a file to the project page

Click Pin next to a file in the Files list to keep it in view: the file appears as a full-width read-only module at the bottom of the project page, just above Media, so you can read it without opening it. Click the pencil icon at the top of the pinned module to jump into the editor, or Unpin on the file row to remove the module. You can pin more than one file.

Read it while you record

Any script file can be opened in the Teleprompter (a paid feature) for full-screen reading while you record, including hands-free voice scrolling. See Teleprompter.

Get help writing

On a paid plan, the AI assistant can draft or punch up scripts in your project, suggest hooks, and tighten intros. Ask it in chat, for example "draft a 60-second script from this outline". See The AI assistant.
